The Direct Marketing Association announced Friday that it set up a post office box to accept donations on behalf of the Salvation Army, the American Red Cross and the United Way.

The DMA will forward the money to the organizations to aid disaster-relief efforts.

Direct marketers can mail donations to Direct Marketing Association, P.O. Box 3784, Grand Central Station, New York, NY 10163.

Checks should be made out to whichever of the charities donors wish to contribute.

Questions can be directed to Lorraine Zitone at the DMA at lzitone@the-dma.org or 212/768-7277, Ext. 1650.
