DMA Seeks 2005 Hall of Fame Nominees

The Direct Marketing Association announced yesterday that it is seeking nominations for 2005 inductees into its DMA Hall of Fame.

Selection criteria for nominees include major contributions to the theory and practice of direct marketing and major contributions to the advancement of the field above and beyond a DMer's activities.

Nominees are chosen at the discretion of the DMA Hall of Fame Committee of Judges. It can present up to four awards annually in the living or posthumous categories.

Deadline for nominations is April 15. Recommendation forms can be downloaded from www.the-dma.org/industryawards/hof/recommendationform.pdf.

The DMA Hall of Fame was established in 1978. A list of previous winners is available at the DMA's Web site. Last year's inductees were Direct Media founder/chairman Dave Florence and Founding Father Benjamin Franklin.
