*DMA Names Young List Leaders
NEW YORK - The Direct Marketing Association's List & Database Council presented the Ron Davis Young List Professional of the Year Award to three individuals with five years of service or less in the list industry. The awards were presented at the DMA's List Vision 2000 conference luncheon here last week.The recipients of this year's awards were Britt Bean of American List Counsel, Princeton, NJ; Jennifer Honadel-Wilson of 21st Century Marketing, Farmingdale, NY; and John Ruzzano of Applied Information Group, Kenilworth, NJ.
The award was named for direct marketer Ron Davis, former director of list management at Meredith Corp., who died after a long battle with cancer. The first time it was given was in 1996.
Several past recipients, such as Kristina Cassell, manager of list management at Boardroom Inc., and Julie London, senior new business manager at Conde Nast, continue to serve the direct marketing industry.
