DMA Launches No-Call FAQ for Members

The Direct Marketing Association launched an online list of frequently asked questions yesterday concerning the national no-call list.

The list addresses both Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission no-call rules, and also deals with new rules regarding predictive dialers, pre-recorded voice messages, caller-ID and fax broadcasting. DMA staff, including senior vice president of government affairs Jerry Cerasale and vice president of ethics and consumer affairs Patricia Faley, developed the list along with the DMA counsel Ian Volner, of the Washington law firm Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti.

DMA members can access the list at the-dma.org/cgi/member/dncregulationfaq.shtml.
