DMA Creates New Group, Names Kuritsky VP

The Direct Marketing Association announced yesterday the creation of a new core marketing organization as part of its membership and market development area, and named Alan Kuritsky to be the DMA's new vice president of marketing.


Kuritsky, who starts his new role June 27, will report to Dr. Ramesh Lakshmi-Ratan, the DMA's senior vice president of membership & market development.


Kuritsky will lead the new marketing organization, which the DMA said will provide marketing support for all the DMA's functional areas, including Membership, Events, Education, Research, Government Affairs, Ethics and Consumer Affairs and The DMA's Nonprofit Federation and International affairs.


Before joining the DMA, Kuritsky served as president of Donnelley Marketing.
