DMA Approves Florida Chapter

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Direct Marketing Association announced the creation of a Florida chapter Sunday here at its 85th Annual Conference & Exhibition at the Moscone Center.

The Florida chapter is the seventh direct marketing organization to become an official DMA chapter since 1997. The others are Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth, Southern California, Northern California, Seattle and Southern Ohio.

Dale Filhaber of Dataman Group Direct Mail & Telemarketing Lists will serve as the new chapter's president. Its vice president will be Karen Blozinski of Dunhill International.

"Florida is the third-largest direct marketing state in the U.S., providing 132,300 jobs and creating more than $114 billion in annual sales volume," Filhaber said in a statement.
