DM News Seeks Online Editor

DM News, the nation's leading media brand for direct, interactive and database marketers, is looking to hire an online editor to handle the publication's e-mail newsletters, dmnews.com site and blog at blog.dmnews.com.

The job requires a minimum of five years' online editing experience along with the requisite HTML and coding knowledge. The executive must also know how to edit for style, check the newswires for breaking news and interact with reporters on staff. He or she will report directly to the editor in chief.

DM News has a flagship weekly print newspaper that is supported by a daily online newsletter and weekly newsletters on e-mail marketing, search marketing and direct response television. The Web site at http://www.dmnews.com/ is the online hub for all this information and the blog complements with additional commentary.

The job offers health benefits (dental extra) and the opportunity to work downtown near Battery Park. Salary will be discussed at the interview stage.
