DM News Founder Assumes Publisher Title

DM News founder Adrian Courtenay, who is also CEO of parent company Courtenay Communications, has assumed the title of DM News publisher following the departure this week of Ron Sichler, who had been with the company since 2002.

"We thank Ron for his many contributions to the company and wish him the best in his future endeavors," Courtenay said. "It's an exciting time for DM News and the rapidly changing field it covers. Internet technology has revolutionized business, commerce and marketing. But regardless of the marketing mix, it's still direct, database and customer relationship marketing. Our longstanding advertisers are looking for new ideas, and there's a whole new world of vendors who can benefit from our print and online editions."

DM News recently announced an imminent revamping of its Web site, www.DMNews.com. The company also has announced that the July 25 print edition will contain a magazine supplement, "The Direct Marketer's Essential Guide to Search Engine Marketing," a collection of expert articles that will explain the basics and intricacies of Search marketing for the DM News audience.
