DM News Essential Guide to Interactive Marketing Technology: USAToday.com

Technology used: Third Screen Media mobile ad network

USAToday.com is the online complement to Gannett's national USA Today newspaper. Third Screen markets, sells and traffics mobile display advertising for USAToday.com using its own proprietary software platform. The site at www.usatoday.com is tagged with Third Screen Media ad tags to let the publisher's staff execute mobile campaigns.

"We're encouraged by the early results," said Matt Jones, director of mobile products at USAToday.com. "With additional gains in visibility, awareness, traffic and market demand, we feel USAToday.com is ... perfectly positioned to capitalize on this growing market."

Previous technology used: A combination of internal assets
