Disney Signs Google for Search Marketing

Google will provide many Walt Disney Internet Group properties with its search technology and relevant sponsored links, it was announced yesterday.


Courtesy of this deal, terms of which were not disclosed, Google's search results and sponsored links now are available to Disney's Go.com visitors. Go.com offers content from ESPN, ABC News and other Disney sites.


Starting this spring, Google, Mountain View, CA, also will support site-specific searches and run sponsored links on Disney.com, FamilyFun.com and Movies.com. The deal aims to boost revenue for the North Hollywood, CA-based Disney online group.
