MasterCard launches interactive outdoor sweepstakes campaign

MasterCard launched an out-of-home campaign on Aug. 1 that integrates QR codes and Facebook Places to enable consumers to enter a sweepstakes.

L'Oreal names R/GA digital AOR for luxury brands

L'Oreal has named R/GA digital AOR for its luxury products division in the US, the brand said May 12. The agency will be responsible for L'Oreal's comprehensive digital strategy and execution for a number of consumer product brands.

McCormick & Co. names R/GA digital AOR

Food products distributor McCormick & Co. has named R/GA its digital AOR after an RFP process. The agency search took place last fall and involved four agencies, said Laurie Harrsen, director of PR and consumer communications at McCormick.

R/GA names Charnock chief strategy officer

R/GA hired William Charnock as chief strategy officer, a newly created position, effective January 25. Reporting to Bob Greenberg, agency CEO and global chief creative officer, he will oversee the agency's global strategy and manage its strategy, planning and research teams.

Ameriprise taps R/GA as AOR

Financial planning company Ameriprise Financial announced December 2 it has chosen interactive agency R/GA as its agency of record, handling traditional advertising and digital. The first creative from the partnership will debut in early 2010.
