Directech Expands On Name, Changes Leadership

Direct marketing communications agency Directech Inc., Lexington, MA, has officially changed its name to Directech/eMerge effective immediately. The company has also announced that Barry Silverstein, formerly president, is now CEO; and Peter Evans, formerly chief operating officer, is now president.

Silverstein said the changes were "in keeping with the continuing growth of the agency." He said the shop was now "truly a single-source provider of direct and e-marketing services," and the company's new name better reflects that reality.

Silverstein founded the agency in 1983. He is also the author of "Business-to-Business Internet Marketing," the second edition of which will be published in October.
