Direct Sales Up Slightly for Brookstone
Multichannel specialty lifestyle merchant Brookstone Inc. said yesterday that preliminary sales for the nine weeks ended Dec. 31 dropped 2.3 percent to $199.6 million. Same-store sales fell 8.1 percent in the period.
Also, the company's direct-to-consumer sales increased 2.6 percent to $40.1 million.
