Direct Media Appoints New CEO
Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, said yesterday that Jerry Schillinger will replace David Florence as CEO.Schillinger's appointment will take effect next month. Florence, who founded the list firm, will continue to play a role in new product development at Direct Media and provide guidance to its staff.
"Given his extensive mailer background, Jerry will be a tremendous asset to Direct Media," Florence said. "We are all looking forward to working very closely with him."
Schillinger spent 10 years at Spiegel, where he was circulation manager and marketing manager. He then founded and served as president of FTD Direct. Most recently, he was president and founder of Spilsbury Inc., a direct response puzzle and game cataloger and Internet retailer.
Direct Media manages the Spilsbury Puzzle Co. list properties.
