Direct Media Adds 5 Online Forums

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- Direct Media Inc. has created five online forums that clients can sign up to participate in, the company said yesterday at its 28th annual Mailer's Conference and Co-op.


In his welcoming address, Direct Media chairman David W. Florence said the forums were designed as a resource for the company's clients to share ideas and information about areas of the industry. Categories include consumer catalogs, consumer publishing, business-to-business, international and fundraising. The forums will be accessible from Direct Media's Web site, www.directmedia.com, or through e-mail.


Florence said Direct Media expects to add a job area to its Web site for clients looking to hire talent or marketers looking for new job opportunities. He also said Direct Media is developing a proprietary data card system. He did not announce when either of these two initiatives would be complete.
