Spain's Caja Duero Deploys MicroStrategy

MicroStrategy Inc., a business intelligence software provider, announced yesterday that Caja Duero, a financial services institution in Spain, is using MicroStrategy 7 as its enterprise platform for its business intelligence and customer relationship management applications.

The MicroStrategy 7 installation, the first of its kind in Spain, allows Caja Duero to more effectively manage the bank's key lines of business, strengthen customer relationships and distribute personalized information to its employees via Web and wireless devices.

In addition to 3,000 MicroStrategy Web licenses, Caja Duero purchased 3,000 MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server licenses in the second quarter, allowing the company to distribute personalized information to its employees and customers via Web and wireless devices.

Caja Duero also expects MicroStrategy CRM applications to improve understanding of online customer behavior and identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services to its customers.
