Kinko's retail locations now will be called FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers, FedEx Corp. said yesterday.

FedEx announced in February that it completed the $2.4 billion acquisition of Kinko's Inc. from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Inc., which previously owned the majority of Kinko's outstanding shares.

FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Services -- the new FedEx operating company's name -- is based in Dallas and has 1,200 locations in 10 countries.

FedEx, Memphis, TN, also said yesterday that FedEx day-definite ground and time-definite global express services will be available at all U.S. locations in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, FedEx will offer customers access to FedEx Consolidated Returns service. Finally, the company said that stores plan to offer complete "pack-and-ship" capabilities in time for the peak holiday season.

FedEx also unveiled its new logo that represents FedEx services: orange for time-definite global express shipping services, green for day-definite ground shipping services and blue for the new retail business service centers. Where the three colors converge is purple, which symbolizes FedEx.
