Time Inc. Entertainment Group publication Entertainment Week has hired Scott Donaton, publisher of Ad Age, to take on the same role there.

The vacancy was created when EW founder and publisher David Morris left Time Inc. in October, shortly after a reorganization saw the creation of the Entertainment Group. Donaton will leave the Crain Business Network at the end of this month and take up the reins at Time Inc. Entertainment Group on December 10.

Entertainment Weekly sits with People magazine under the Entertainment Group. The group is led by Paul Caine, publisher of People Group.
