Convergys' India Call Center Meets Expectations
The 1,900-seat center is in Gurgaon, a suburb of New Dehli. The 24-hour call center provides outsourced customer support services for the financial services, communications and consumer product industries. Convergys opened the center in October 2001. It provides outbound calling, e-mail, Web chat and back-office services for multinational clients and is managed entirely by Indian nationals.
Convergys operates 46 contact centers worldwide and handles about 1.7 million consumer interactions daily.
