AXIS Picks Firstlogic

AXIS Database Marketing Group Inc., a technology and marketing services organization, standardized on the Firstlogic IQ8 enterprise environment for data quality services, Firstlogic Inc. said yesterday.


AXIS will use IQ8 to better manage the volumes of data essential to the database marketing and customer relationship management services the company hosts for its clients, including pharmaceutical, financial, telecommunications and Fortune 500 customers.


The Toronto company develops and implements multichannel customer contact solutions through database development, hosting and management.


AXIS bought IQ8 from SQLiaison, a Canadian business intelligence solutions and analytical applications expert. SQLiaison recently was appointed as a Firstlogic Global Channel Partner for Canada.


As the core of AXIS' service offerings, IQ8 helps create unique views of each customer, prospect or suspect contained in the multimillion-record databases it creates and maintains for clients. IQ8 lets AXIS perform advanced customer behavioral analysis, modeling, geographic analysis, data mining and campaign management as well as reliable customer segmentation.


AXIS previously relied on using processes developed internally to manage its data quality.
