Direct Group Buys Coupon Services
Direct Group said yesterday that it purchased Coupon Services Corp. as part of its ongoing expansion strategy. Terms were not disclosed.Direct Group's partner in the purchase was private equity firm Schroder Ventures US.
Direct Group, Trenton, NJ, and Coupon Services, Jersey City, NJ, both are involved in the production and fulfillment of high-volume, time-sensitive direct mail. Direct Group offers printing, lettershop, personalization, fulfillment, data and creative services.
Direct Group formerly was part of Prinexus Inc. In April, its senior management bought out the subsidiary for $50 million, again in partnership with Schroder Ventures US.
