Dime Hooks Up With Sedona for CRM

The Dime Savings Bank of New York has hired Sedona Corp. to provide it with customer relationship management services.

The Sedona system, Intarsia, is an application service provider-based or software-based CRM system. It includes components such as profitability management, marketing campaign management, lead tracking, Web-based reporting, and a personalized portal that allows financial institutions and their employees to create customized Web pages. Users can access these services via traditional PCs and wireless hand-held PCs.

Dime has chosen to use the ASP-based version of the system. The bank's previous CRM provider was replaced after four years of service because the new Sedona system is more cost-effective and includes added features, Dime said.

Dime officials would not disclose the name of the previous CRM provider.
