www.selltheweb.com will provide advertisement and recruiting companies information on job-seeking sales professionals after being introduced yesterday by publishing firm Digitrends, the Web site's parent company.

Digitrends expects the site to attract recruiters and firms from the multi-billion dollar industry of online advertising. The Laguna Niguel, CA-based firm says that such companies have experienced a strain on their staffing because of highly competitive employee markets in online sales and advertising fields. www.selltheweb.com will feature editorials and research, as well as other information.

Digitrends also announced that it plans to promote the Web site on a tour of one-day job fairs in major US markets later this year. Attendance at such conferences will be restricted to pre-qualified sales professionals from print and electronic media.
