Shutters ChickClick Web Portal

Online entertainment network has closed its portal for young women and girls.

"Unfortunately, because of the changes in the economy, we can no longer keep ChickClick up and running," a note on the Web site said.

The network is in the midst of shifting its focus to concentrate more on entertainment and gaming. Its network, which specializes in content in this area, is's remaining property. in late January sold its alumni Web site,, to Los Angeles-based Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company said the alumni site did not fit into its plans to cater to a younger audience.
