POP Multimedia, @Once Team Up for E-Mail Campaigns
POP Multimedia said it would offer its clients personalized e-mail campaigns using @Once's eMessaging platform.
"Permission-based, targeted e-mail campaigns are the most cost-effective method for generating e-commerce sales and building customer loyalty," said Jon Brodeur, president of @Once.
This is not the first time the company has worked with POP Multimedia, said Tim Price, @Once's vice president of business development. He said the two companies had a previous relationship through mutual clients Real Networks and Nintendo.
"This is the second generation of our relationship," Price said. "POP Multimedia will be a reseller of our services to their clients."
He said the companies are now developing targeted rich media e-mail campaigns for two companies that he would not name.
"One of the clients [wants] to drive an audience to a live event Web site," Price said. "POP Multimedia developed some of the content for that site."
