Online Golf Retailer Signs With AOL

Online golf equipment retailer chipshot.com, Sunnyvale, CA, has signed a one-year marketing deal with America Online that will make it an anchor tenant in the golf and recreation areas of the new Shop@AOL, Shop@AOL.com, Shop@Compuserve and Shop@Netscape destinations.


Chipshot also will be promoted during the three biggest tournaments next year The Masters, the U.S. Open and the British Open. It also will be a featured sponsor of other golf content, including golf news.


This is the latest in a series of deals by the golf e-tailer which include recent partnership announcements with About.com, Accompany, Flooz.com and GiftPoint.com.
