Omniture debuts

Omniture announced it has launched, a resource for CMOs that will contain news, techniques and tips about marketing, as well as analyst reports.

“We realize that CMOs struggle to stay up-to-date on the latest in digital marketing insights and technology and we want to help them stay aware,” said Austin Bankhead, CMO programs director at Omniture. also has links to two professional networking groups: The CMO Club and the Marketing Executives Group (MENG). The launch of follows other efforts by Omniture aimed at reaching CMOs. Two weeks ago, Omniture introduced the CMO dashboard, which takes data from the Omniture online marketing suite and presents it to CMOs in an accessible format.

“The core of our marketing strategy goes above product demos and focuses on getting CMOs to learn,” said Gail Ennis, SVP of marketing at Omniture. “Our marketing really has to be educating them on the best practices on the industry and keeping them aware of what is happening first, before we can show them products.”
