MyPoints Joins Forces With GTE Internetworking

Share this content:, a provider of incentives and loyalty programs online, has joined with GTE Internetworking, the Internet services unit of GTE, to launch a co-branded program for GTE users -- MyPoints by GTE -- that will allow GTE customers to earn extra reward points for shopping at select vendor Web sites.

The foundation of the incentive scheme will be provided by MyPoints' e-commerce technology platform, Digital Loyalty Engine. GTE Internet service subscribers will be eligible for extra points when they share information, read or respond to direct marketing offers made through the various services offered such as Snapl, a search engine, PeopleLink, an instant messaging service, and GTE Internet's Web-based New User Guide.
