MyPoints Begins Loyalty Rewards Program

MyPoints, San Francisco, said yesterday it was launching its newest product, Instant Loyalty by MyPoints. The product is described as a turnkey technology platform that enables Web businesses to rapidly and cost-effectively implement rewards programs to enhance their site offerings, create point incentives and promote loyalty among their users.


The product is expected to leverage the company's other direct marketing membership service, called MyPoints, by allowing its advertising clients to extend the reward they offer through MyPoints e-mail and Web-based direct marketing messages to their own site offerings. Instant Loyalty represents the third offering in MyPoints.com's lineup of loyalty infrastructure products, including private-label and co-branded MyPoints Network rewards programs. The Instant Loyalty program is designed for quick implementation. MyPoints said an Instant Loyalty program can be set up in less than two weeks.


Once set up, the program will be able to offer consumers points for a wide variety of purchase and non-purchase activity, as well as for reading and responding to targeted e-mail and Web-based offers.


Companies that have already signed on to adopt the program include SkyDesk, MyFlowerShop.com and Games2Learn.com. MyPoints.com is a developer of Internet direct marketing and loyalty infrastructure.
