Moen Taps Optiem for E-Mail Marketing
The account was won following a cold call.
"They were using MessageMedia and doing it inhouse and were not satisfied, so they decided that the right solution for them was to outsource it to a full-solution e-mail agency," said David Eden, president of Optiem.
Optiem's other clients include National City Corp., Targus, IMG, CD Warehouse and the Cleveland Zoo.
Optiem's tasks include cleaning Moen's inhouse e-mail list and the purchase of 90,000 addresses. Optiem also will be responsible for tracking the performance of an e-mail campaign that encourages participation in an online sweepstakes and its return on investment.
"They want to acquire new customers, and the other [goal] was to promote their PureTouch Aqua suite, which is a water-filtration system for the home," Eden said.
Targets of the e-mail effort include home remodelers and businesses involved in the home remodeling field.
