Microsoft and CNBC partner for mobile WAP ads

Microsoft has become the exclusive third-party provider of mobile WAP site display advertising for CNBC.com's mobile WAP site, at http://www.m.CNBC.com.

This alliance represents Microsoft's first mobile ad syndication deal in the US and is an extension of the partnership between the two companies, who collaborated for online advertising last December.

The Ford Motor Company is one of the first companies to use the ads. The CNBC.com WAP site has about 1.1 million unique monthly visitors.

Microsoft Mobile advertising is available in 11 markets across the globe, including Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US.
