LifeMinders Adds FreeShop, NextCard to Advertising List

Herndon, Va.-based said yesterday it signed advertising agreements totaling $3.2 million with Inc. and NextCard. The deal allows both companies to distribute e-mail messages across all 16 lifestyle categories. In addition to advertising, FreeShop will offer memberships in "Club FreeShop," its semiweekly opt-in e-mail newsletter, to all new members.

"We continue to seek additional partnering opportunities with all of our advertisers who can benefit from the number of different products we can offer, from opt-in to our private label e-marketing product," said Stephen R. Chapin, president/CEO of Both FreeShop and NextCard agreed to one-year contracts.
