L-Soft Launches LISTSERV Maestro for E-Mail Marketing
The company said Maestro lets marketers instantly measure opt-in e-mail campaigns by tracking which recipients open the e-mail and which clicked links within the message. Marketers can define which events to track and choose how recipients are tracked. They can choose personal tracking, which records message open and click-throughs; anonymous tracking, which can track individuals as an anonymous profile; unique tracking, which records the number of times unique open and click-through events occur; and blind tracking, which collects unspecific data.
Messages can be sent in text, HTML or multi-part formats, L-Soft said. Graphics, audio and video files also can be attached. Jobs can be tested before they are sent out.
L-Soft, based in Bethesda, MD, initially is releasing a high-capacity version of LISTSERV Maestro that lets companies conduct large-scale e-mail campaigns. Marketers can license this version for $65,126 the first year, including maintenance. Subsequent licenses are $32,500 a year. The company said marketers can send on average 500,000 messages an hour.
Next month, L-Soft plans to launch a hosted version of LISTSERV Maestro. It also plans to introduce a smaller-capacity version.
