Golf Software Firm Buys Netcaddy.com

e2e Golf Solutions this week announced that it would buy online tee-time Web site www.netcaddy.com, but did not release the terms of the agreement.


As a firm that sells software to golf courses, e2e, Scottsdale, AZ, looks to increase its presence with golfers who use the Web. It has also partnered with pga.com - which is a joint venture of the Professional Golfers Association of America and IBM Inc.


Netcaddy.com, Cincinnati, will offer e2e new promotional and publishing online space, as well as proprietary technology that helps golf course managers maximize profits. e2e said the increasingly competitive online market for the golfing community sparked the acquisition.
