Firm Offers Keyword Suggestion

Hitwise, a competitive intelligence firm, introduced a technology last week that suggests keywords for marketers to use in search campaigns.


Hitwise, New York, said it developed its Keyword Intelligence product for small businesses, letting them generate lists of keywords that have been proven to drive traffic to Web sites in specific industries.


The technology is based on actual Internet use of more than 20 million users across 80 search engines, including Google, Yahoo and MSN.


Keyword Intelligence also features market-specific terms for users in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
