E-SIM, is set to introduce an online tool today that promises to offer consumers the ability to examine and to learn about electronic equipment before purchasing it. E-SIM, New York, will officially debut the technology via Webcast at www.livemanuals.com at 12 p.m. EST.

Through so-called interactive simulation, e-SIM, an online provider of technological services, allows consumers to test certain devices, such as cell phones, before committing to buying them.

The e-commerce Web site also enables consumers to compare prices from a number of items and provides an online users' manual for more than 10,000 products.

Additionally, up to 40 manufacturers, including Amana, Zenith and Kenwood USA Corp., among others, provide interactive simulations of their products on LiveManuals.com.
