e-Dialog Upgrades Precision Marketing Platform for E-Mail

E-mail marketing service provider e-Dialog yesterday announced Precision Marketing Platform 2.0, an upgrade of its e-mail and campaign planning technology. The technology now includes Advanced Custom Publishing technology, enabling marketers to offer increased personalization.


The company also added the External Event Planner to PMP 2.0, which integrates applications and data sources to capture online and offline campaign responses and customer activity. The upgraded platform also includes enhanced self-service applications such as Campaign Builder, e-Dialog's e-mail marketing application. Campaign Builder enables marketers to plan, configure and launch their own e-mail campaigns.


The National Football League, a long-time client of e-Dialog, uses PMP to develop and deploy its e-mail campaigns. Evan Kramer, the league's senior director of new media, said the upgrade will enable the NFL to greatly enhance its newsletters and campaigns.


"Four our league-wide campaigns, e-Dialog's Advanced Custom Publishing capabilities let us communicate one-on-one with all of our fans and reach them with only the news that most matters to them," Kramer said.


He also said that most of the teams in the league use PMP for their individual e-mail campaigns.


Also included in the upgraded PMP 2.0 is Data Director, a data management application that allows marketers to submit, access and manipulate audience segments for e-mail campaigns.
