Crosswalk.com Says Goodbye to President/CEO, 15 Employees

Crosswalk.com Inc., an Internet stand-alone targeting Christians with retail and content, this month announced the departure of president/CEO Bill Parker.


Scott Fehrenbacher is the new president/CEO after serving as company vice president and editor in chief of its site. Crosswalk, Chantilly, VA, also said it was laying off 15 employees, cutting its workforce to 55.


"This restructuring and change in leadership is what needs to be done in order to best position Crosswalk to be the long-term player in this market," Parker said in a prepared statement.


The announcements followed the unveiling of a $500,000 advertising deal with Christianbook.com, which will place ads at www.crosswalk.com throughout 2001.
