ClickAction Extends E-Mail Marketing Services to Nonprofits

ClickAction Inc., Palo Alto, CA, said yesterday that it would provide The Nature Conservancy with its e-mail relationship management and newsletter delivery technology.

The company, which provides permission-based e-mail and marketing services, said The Nature Conservancy would use the technology to market to its more than 1 million members.

The nonprofit conservation organization will use the application service provider version of ClickAction's ERM technology to communicate with its donors about organization programs and conservation efforts.

ClickAction clients include Business Week Online, which uses the company's technology to send several million highly customized electronic newsletters to several hundred thousand subscribers who have requested information on specific subjects. Nabisco and Brooks Brothers also use ClickAction's technology.
