Jones, president/CEO of uBid.com, said at opening general session of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing's DM Days 2000 here yesterday. Ubid.com is an online auction company in Elk Grove Village, IL. "We feel very strongly that the skill-set in this room, moving forward, will be the highest-demand skill-set as more and more e-commerce players come into the market space. It needs targeting, focusing and bringing in the right people to make a business successful."
