CheetahMail Releases ReserveMail 1.0

CheetahMail Inc. has introduced ReserveMail 1.0, which it said is the first integrated query, reservation and e-messaging system for e-mail marketers.

The company said ReserveMail 1.0 is a database-driven hosted application that is integrated with its FastTrack suite of e-messaging delivery and reporting tools. ReserveMail 1.0 lets marketers target and segment their opt-in lists based on demographic and behavioral data.

Users can query their databases; locate high-value prospects based on any combination of captured information, such as transaction history, age and gender; and set them aside for special offers. The application then locks these names out for any other mailings during the reserved week.

"People can create their own YesMail or NetCreations out of their own databases," said Dave Hendricks, senior vice president of sales and marketing at CheetahMail, New York. "It reduces the risk of over-messaging people."

CheetahMail said pricing for ReserveMail 1.0 depends on the size of the client's database. There is a one-time setup charge and a seat charge based on the number of people who will have access to the system.

"ReserveMail allows you to target to another level," Hendricks said. "There is no limit to the names you can reserve."
