Charity focused search engine launches, a new search engine that enables people to donate to charity as they search, launched in beta on February 29 with a stated goal of helping the world “one click at a time.”

For every click on the site's ads, will donate 50% of that revenue to charity, said Darian Gray, owner of Los Angeles-based Quick Digital Global, which developed the search engine.

“It started off just as an idea to offer more or less localized search for small businesses,” he said. “As we got deeper into development we decided to take it a few steps further and additional work was done on search features that offer more of a broad search.”

“What we're most excited about is the ability we have to donate to charities,” Gray said. Right now the site's focus is on environmental, animal, wildlife, educational, cancer and other health-related charities. “We also give people the ability to submit charities to us for review to be added to the pool of charities that we donate to on a monthly basis,” he said.
