AOL, GoTo.com Form Strategic Alliance

America Online, Dulles, VA, and GoTo.com said yesterday that they have agreed to a $50 million multiyear pact.


AOL will distribute GoTo.com's Pay-for-Performance listings on the search result pages of AOL, AOL.com and Netscape Netcenter.


GoTo.com, Pasadena, CA, will give AOL users access to its new Premium Listings Service, which includes Pay-For-Performance listings submitted by GoTo's base of 29,000 advertisers. It will be the exclusive Pay-For-Performance product on AOL-brand search areas.
