Digital Impact Nabs Mineshare

Digital Impact, an online direct marketer, agreed yesterday to acquire Mineshare, an applications service provider that focuses on customer analysis to enable acquisition and retention. Digital Impact is making the move in order to offer its advertising clients the analytical tools needed to deliver targeted messages to consumers.


Digital Impact, San Mateo, CA, will acquire 100 percent of Mineshare, Santa Monica, CA, in exchange for roughly 2 million shares of Digital Impact common stock, valued at $34 million. After the transaction, which is expected to be complete within the next few weeks, Mineshare will continue to operate from its Santa Monica office.
