The custom publishing industry builds its ranks with the launch of Dialog Custom Media, Fort Lauderdale, FL.


A subsidiary of ad agency Starmark International, the startup will produce custom magazines, online publications and customer retention response programs. Dialog's charter clients include Norwegian Cruise Line, Lottery Winners Association, Valentine's Resort and Marina and Orient Line.


Deborah Parker is publishing director. She previously was marketing communications manager at AuthentiDate. Katy Gewartowski serves as editorial director, moving from her post as editor of the Silver Lining employee newsletter at Silversea Cruises.
