DHL Raising Rates Feb. 2

Rates will rise 3.5 percent Feb. 2 at DHL Worldwide Express.


The increase will affect most of DHL's domestic and outbound services including International Document Express, Worldwide Priority Express, Import Express, USA Overnight and USA 2nd Day.


The increase is the same as those announced by FedEx Corp. that took effect Jan. 6 and similar to Jan. 6 increases of 2.9 percent to 3.9 percent at Airborne Express and 3 percent to 4 percent increases at United Parcel Service.


DHL Worldwide Express is majority-owned by Deutsche Post WorldNet.
