Designer Takes a Gander at goose

Calico Corners, the 110-store retail division of Everfast Inc., Kennett Square, PA, has named gender-oriented marketing services agency goose, Philadelphia, as its new agency of record. Annual billings were estimated at $14 million.

Calico CEO Bert Kerstetter said the company needed an agency that understands how to market to women who are attracted to Calico Corners.

"goose's gender-based methods are well-suited to our category. The people at goose get it both in broad strategic terms and in the fine detail to which our market - primarily women and interior decorators - respond," Kerstetter said.
