Dendrite Licenses Verispan Patient Data
Dendrite International will license anonymous patient-level data from healthcare information company Verispan, the provider of pharmaceutical industry solutions said yesterday.The data, coupled with proprietary analytics from Dendrite, Bedminster, NJ, will let Dendrite customers more precisely identify prescribers at specific points in their individual product adoption curve and develop direct, prescriber-specific messaging or activities.
Collection of anonymous patient-level data through a network of pharmacies originally was conducted by Dendrite when no other suitable data sources were available. In the past five years, Verispan, Yardley, PA, has expanded the quality and depth of its data. As a result, Dendrite no longer needs to collect its own data.
