Demandware and RightNow Technologies team up for CRM e-commerce offer

CRM firm RightNow Technologies and e-commerce services firm Demandware have teamed up to offer an integrated customer relationship management and e-commerce offering.

The new partnership combines RightNow's service, marketing and sales applications with Demandware's Web and e-commerce services.

The aim of the partnership is to let multichannel retailers and consumer brands integrate their online and offline businesses, and involve the customer service into the equation.

RightNow will host an in/outbound sales and service desktop, multichannel customer service, marketing communications, and customer feedback capabilities. Demandware will participate by offering its e-commerce platform, including the online storefront, site search, guided navigation, product catalog and promotions, Web development environment, user profiles and online content.
