Delia's names Killough CEO

Teen multichannel retailer Delia's has named Walter Killough CEO, effective May 14. The company's COO since 2005, Killough will succeed Robert Bernard.

Delia's declined to comment on the appointment. In a statement, Carter Evans, chairman of the company's board, said Killough's “results-oriented management style and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable as he continues to move forward with the company's strategic initiatives.”

Killough joined Delia's subsidiary Alloy in March 2003 as a consultant, then served as COO of its retail and direct consumer division from October 2003 to December 2005. Prior to his work at Delia's, Killough worked at J.Crew for 14 years, serving as COO and EVP.
